Ethel (Carity) Webb, 96, of Troy, passed away 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Koester Pavilion in Troy surrounded by her family. She was born on November 28, 1917 near Casstown, OH to the late Anna (Durr) and Philip Carity. Ethel was married to Elden Webb on July 29, 1943, and he preceded her in death on January 26, 1980.

Ethel is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald (Lydia Jane) Webb of Troy, Larry (Sandy) Webb of Troy, Philip (Saundra Jane) Webb of Troy; six grandchildren, Sonja (Pat) Besecker of Troy, Peggy (Mike) Shinkle of Troy, Janet (Tim) Larck of Troy, Annette (Dan) Stine of Troy, Brad Webb of Troy, Dawn Webb of Troy; eleven great grandchildren, Matthew Besecker, Megan Besecker, Justin (Carrie) Larck, Drew Larck, Aliya Stine, Haley Stine, Cameron Stine, Jaden Stine, Kelton Webb, Keegan Webb, Cooper Webb; and one great great grandson, Landon Larck; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and twin great grandsons Cody and Jacob Shinkle.

Ethel attended New Horizons Church of God Mountain Assembly in Troy and was very active in the church. She held the position of book keeper for many years. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother and will forever be remembered in our hearts

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Joe Hill presiding. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to New Horizons Church of God Mountain Assembly in Troy in her memory.
