Eva Eunice Stephens, age 95, passed away on December 31, 2022, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born September 14, 1927, in Sherburne, KY to Hobert Williams and Alti (Harmon) Williams.

Eva was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Alti Williams, her husband Omer Glenn Stephens, and daughter Kathryn Ann Ferguson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Michael G. Stephens, and daughter-in-law Gaynell (Kaiser) Stephens of Flower Mount, TX, grandchildren Jeffrey and Jenny (Linn) Stephens of Flower Mound, TX, Matthew Ferguson of Cincinnati, OH and Sarah (Ferguson) Rehmert of Vandalia, OH as well as great-grandchildren Jackson and Jenevieve Stephens and Payton Rehmert.

Eva graduated from Troy High School and worked as a librarian at Troy High School.

She enjoyed sewing and playing cards and was part of a card club for many years.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 11:30 AM Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor David Ramming officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM-11:30 PM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
