Faye E. Newman, age 91 of Troy, passed away Saturday February 6, 2016 at Koester Pavilion in Troy. She was born June 6, 1924 in Houston, Ohio to the late John and Violet (Webb) Saunders.

She is survived by son Richard Newman of Troy and three daughters; Becky Kessler of Troy, Linda Lacey of Troy, and Dixie Hare of Piqua. Thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Preceding her in death is her beloved husband Richard Newman, who passed away December 18, 1985. Also preceding her in death are five brothers and two sisters.

Faye was a retired assistant cook at the former Hobart Bros. in Troy, and was a former member of the Women of the Moose and the Pocahontas, both of Troy.

Memorial Service 11AM Feb. 13 at Cornerstone Baptist Church 1879 Old Staunton Rd., Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
