Francis Leroy “Curly” Langston, age 95 of Troy, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy. He was born September 29, 1931 in Piqua to the late Leonard and Edith Langston.

Francis was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn (Brown) Langston on May 18, 2011, they were married 58 years. Also preceding him was son Charles Langston, as well as brothers Richard "Dick"  Langston, Leonard “Red” Langston, Harold “Gene” Langston, and Marion Langston, and sisters Betty Bryers and Virginia Langston.

Those left to cherish Francis’ memory include his son Robert Langston and daughters Pat Cruea and Mary Bogard; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Francis was a member of Troy Moose Lodge 2695, Troy Eagles #971, and the Troy Fish and Game. He retired with Dinner Bell in Troy after several years of dedicated service.

Family and friends are welcome from 2:00PM-4:00PM on Monday, November 2, 2026 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home for visitation. A celebration of life gathering will be held following the visitation at 599 Meadow Lane, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
