Fred Leroy Gallow, Sr. age 84 of West Milton, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021. He was born October 3, 1936 in Tioga, NY to the late Fred and Celia (Hollenbach) Gallow.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Tilton on August 3, 2017; brothers Nate and Lawrence Gallow; sister Vivian Jane Gallow Cardiff; and stepfather Reed Wilcox.

Those left to cherish Fred's memory include his son and daughter-in-law Fred Leroy Gallow, Jr. and Michelle Gallow of Pleasant Hill; son Robert Nicely of Troy; grandchildren Haley, Austin, Emma, Levi, Britney, and Courtney Tilton, Lauren Motter, Jasmine Gilardi, Catelyn Rutherford, and Gauge Gallow; five great-grandchildren; as well as special friend Debbie Hildebrand of West Milton.

Fred was a hard-working man who spent many years as a heavy equipment operator in Dayton. He was a member of Troy Eagles #971 and VFW Post # 8211 in West Milton. He also enjoyed studying and practicing the techniques of Reflexology. Fred enjoyed spending time with his family and especially loved going to his grandchildren's sporting events when he could.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00PM-4:00PM on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Mountaintop VFW Post # 6557: 4578 Fenner Rd. Pleasant Hill, OH 45359. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Special Olympics Foundation or your local VFW Post.
