Fredrick Bruce "Rusty" Stewart, Jr. age 65 of Troy, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at Kettering Health, Troy. He was born May 28, 1960 in Dayton to the late Fredrick Bruce Stewart, Sr. and Wanda Richie.

Along with his parents, Rusty was preceded in death by his brother Greg Stewart.

Those left to cherish Rusty's memory include his close friend and companion Vickie Vance of Dayton; brothers Thomas "Shane" Richie (fiancé Pauline) of Cincinnati and Eric Farrier (Nikki) of Troy; sister-in-law Mary Jo Stewart of Troy; as well as nephew and niece Jack Richie and Kiana Farrier and numerous cousins.

Rusty was a graduate of Belmont High School in Dayton. He was the family handyman and was very mechanically inclined. Rusty was also an excellent cook, and his family enjoyed his chili along with their grandma's famous cornbread- which Rusty perfected.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00PM Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be from 1:00PM-2:00PM prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
