Gary Lee Hillman, age 65 of Surprise, Arizona, formerly of Troy, passed away January 30, 2016. He was born December 24, 1950 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Earl and Agnes (Tuley) Hillman.

Survivors include his beloved wife Melanie (Heaton) Hillman of Surprise, Arizona, two sons and daughters-in-law Brian and Kristeen Hillman of Springfield, Virginia; and Brock and Brandelyn Hillman of Chicago, Illinois, as well as three grandchildren: Darian, Damian and Darcy Hillman.

Other survivors include two sisters and brother-in-law Terri and Randy Kress of Greenville, and Anne Hillman of Goodyear, Arizona, as well as two brothers and sisters-in-law Mike and Darlene Hillman of Sycamore, Illinois; and Chris and Candace Hillman of Troy.

Also surviving is father-in-law and mother-in-law Doug and Carol Heaton of Troy, brother-in-law Steve (Lisa) Heaton-Veach of Hamilton, sister-in-law Connie (Frank) Veach of Casstown and sister-in-law Bonnie Heaton of Fletcher.

He is preceded in death by his brother Timothy Hillman.

Gary served in the National Guard and enjoyed playing golf and softball. He was President of the Arizona Traditions Softball Club and worked as manager for Able Pest Control in Springfield.

A memorial service will be held 12PM Saturday February 27, 2016 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Lauren Allen officiating. Friends may call an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of Connie Veach. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
