Gerald D. "Buck" Bucklew, 88, of Troy, passed away 9:31 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Covington Care Center, Covington. He was born in Concord Township on November 18, 1926 to the late Elger and Clara (Brown) Bucklew. He was married to Iva Arlene Cress, and she preceded him in death on August 14, 1998.

Gerald is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Scott Othersen of Troy; one son-in-law, Charles Ingle of Troy; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one step brother and spouse, Richard and Virginia Bucklew of Troy. He was also preceded in death by three daughters, Sandra Ingle, Marcia Hemmerle, and Cheryl Pike.

Gerald was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Troy Moose Lodge and a former member Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM of Troy. He was a retired salesman for Standard Oil Co. of Ohio.

A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
