Geraldine Louise Belcher, age 83 of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1939 in Troy to the late Bill and Betty (nee Douglas) Clay.

In addition to her parents, Geraldine is preceded in death by her siblings Tayebah Redfearn, Dwight Clay, Gary Battle, Teresa Byers, and Edward Clarke.

Those left to cherish Geraldine's memory include her loving husband of 63 years, Charles Belcher; daughter, Tamela (David) Kerns of Middletown, OH; sons, Charles (Sherri) Belcher of Troy and Tariq Belcher of Troy; siblings, Jeanne Atkins of Troy, Elizabeth Brown of Texas, Margie (Roy) Pirtle of Dayton, OH, Sheena (James) Harris of Troy, William (Amy) Clay of Okinawa, Japan, Thomas (Barbara) Clarke of Piqua, OH, and Nadine (William) Redfearn of Troy; grandchildren, Troy Belcher, Courtney Belcher, Isabella Kerns, Tara Belcher, Michaela Belcher, Titus Belcher, Whitney Webster, Matt Bercot, and Tara Pierce; great-grandchildren, Ember Belcher, Sarah Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Hadassah Pierce, and Zechariah Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geraldine graduated from Troy High School and later went on to receive her associate's degree from Edison State Community College in Piqua, OH. She was a teacher's aid at Troy Christian High School for many years. Geraldine loved her family and God. She had a passion for reading, reading her Bible, being a prayer warrior, listening to Christian music, and doing word searches. She belonged to True Vine Church in Piqua, OH.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor John Scott officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
