Glenna Jean Dickerson, of Piqua, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and friends on her farm on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on August 20, 1939, and was a 1957 graduate of Troy High School. For over 30 years she enjoyed raising, showing, and travelling with Australian Cattle dogs. She was also proudly a retired real estate agent, served on a farm loan committee, and in later years, was a member of numerous organizations such as the Troy Elks #833, the Troy Fish and Game club, Piqua VFW #4874 and Troy Eagles Auxiliary #971. Her sheer will and incredible strength will be remembered and admired for years to come by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Joe (J.W.) Dickerson, and daughter Melinda. She is survived by her daughters Brenda (Mark) Bodenmiller of Casstown, Jodi (Vincent) Roberts of Englewood, her son Joe (Tonya) Dickerson of Troy, her grandsons Mark (Kirsty) Bodenmiller, Dan Bodenmiller, Tyler McFadden, Trey McFadden, Robbie Dickerson, Tommy Dickerson, granddaughter Katie Bodenmiller, and three great granddaughters, Gracelyn, Emma, and Maggie.

The family will be holding a private memorial and burial service, and would like to thank Hospice of Shelby County for their care and efforts.
