Harold Edgar Barefoot, age 93 of Tipp City, OH, passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 at Springmead Health Center, Tipp City. He was born October 29, 1926 in Dayton, OH to Ross Franklin Barefoot and Hazel Dora (Gimbel) Barefoot.

Harold is survived by his daughter Rebecca Jean Barefoot and her husband Jonathan B. Scarpelli of Castle Rock, CO and sister Mary Elizabeth Hansen of Arcadia, CA.

He was preceded in death by brothers Walter William Barefoot, Robert Earl Barefoot, and Dale Eugene Barefoot.

Harold was a graduate of the former Randolph High School (now Northmont High School) in Clayton, OH. He served with the Army Occupational Forces in Japan at the end of World War II. He worked many years as an assembler for National Cash Register Company in Dayton before establishing Barefoot Canoe Livery on the Stillwater and Miami Rivers. He was a resident of Frederick, Miami Co. for over 70 years.
