Harry F. Larck, 83,of Tipp City, passed away 6:25 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. He was born in Scott Depot, West Virginia on September 23, 1930 to the late Walter and Bertha Lee (Persinger) Larck. He was married to Laura Helen Leach on August 26, 1958, and she preceded him in death on October 26, 2011.

Harry is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and John Francis of Russia, Ohio; two brothers, James Russell Larck of Troy, Walter Dwaine Larck of Troy; two grandchildren, Haley (Brian) Francis, Trent Francis; one great grandson, Xavier "Baby X" Francis; two sisters-in-law, Ada Larck of Troy, Lora Larck of Tipp City; one brother-in-law, Olen "Pete" Reynolds of Troy; one sister-in-law, Barbara Schoen of Troy; and one brother-in-law, Charles "Shorty" Leach of Dandridge, TN. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Avey, Clinton, Tom, Charles Larck; and three sisters, Minnie Bowman, Cora Queen, and Sandra Reynolds.

Harry was a Marine Corp. Veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of the Motor Vehicle Transport Group. He was retired from Stevens Aviation of Vandalia in 1982 after 31 years of service. He was Valedictorian of 1948 Class of Troy High School. He attended four years of College at Wright State University. He loved genealogy and was a history buff.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Bob Bell officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Covington with a Military Service at the Graveside by Marine Corp. Honor Guard of Dayton. Contributions may be given in Harry's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas, 66675.
