I. Jean Favorite, age 88 of Troy passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. She was born December 15, 1926 in Troy, Ohio to the late Floyd and Goldie (Fleck) Avey.

She married Raymond L. Favorite on March 2, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2015.

She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Troy.

She is survived by her daughters Sandra Favorite of Troy, Ramona Favorite of Troy, Brenda VanHorn of Troy, 4 grandchildren , 5 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law Marvin Avey of Troy, Harry and Jean Avey of Troy, Norman and Elsie Avey of Troy, Ralph and Rosie Avey of Troy., and sister Joan Littlejohn of  Piqua.

She is also preceded in death by grandson Chad, brothers Harold, Floyd, Donald and Charles Avey, and sisters Virginia Gearhardt and Faye Saum.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Jeff Rollison officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00) A.M. at the funeral home.
