Jackie "Jack" Dayle Ison, age 64 of New Carlisle, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born February 1, 1957 in Troy to the late Paul and Elizabeth (Lewis) Ison.

He was preceded in death by stepdaughter Chrissi Moore.

Jack is survived by his wife Sherri Ison of Troy; children Joshua Ison of Huber Heights and Heather Ison of Troy; stepchildren Brandi Fenwick and Samuel Moore, Jr.; grandchildren Urijiah Browner, Brett Ballentine, Callie Saunders, Lily Saunders, Samuel Moore, III, and Kainoa Moore; sisters Betty Ison of New Carlisle, Joyce Bent of New Carlisle, and Joan Blair (Lynn) of Springfield; and brother Bill Ison (Lenna) of Troy.

Jack was a member of New Carlisle Freewill Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a gifted artist and enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. He took great pride in his family and loved to spend quality time with his grandchildren. Jack was a landscaper by trade throughout his life and also worked at Studebaker Diner in New Carlisle for a time.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 12:00PM-4:00PM at Freewill Baptist Church: 9555 New Carlisle Pike, New Carlisle, OH 45344 .
