James Michael Bush, Sr. age 68 of Troy, passed away 2:41AM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born August 8, 1955 in Sidney.

He was preceded in death by his wife and soulmate Cindy L.  Bush on April 5, 2015; as well as parents Jim and Mary Bush and Louise Williams.

Those left to cherish James's memory include his girlfriend Norma Stidham; his children: Chasity Bush of Dayton, James Michael Bush, Jr. (Liz Jennings) of Troy, Tammy Bush (Carl Robinson) of Conover,  Amber Davidson (Shawn) of Troy, and Jessica Holbrooks (James) of Tipp City; 14 grandchildren and soon to be nine great-grandchildren; as well as siblings Cathy, Cindi, Crystal, Carla, Billy, Shawnda, Debi, and Jerry. He will also be dearly missed by his fur baby Pumpkin.

James enjoyed fishing and testing out his green thumb. He loved jamming to the radio and bonding with his only son, James Jr. James worked in line production for Hobart ITW for 17 years.

A visitation will be held at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Friday, January 5, 2024 with a eulogy given by James M. Bush, Jr. starting at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
