James Edward "Jim" Lewis, age 66 of Troy, passed away 6:14AM on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 7, 1957 in Troy to the late Lawrence and Virginia (Ivey) Lewis.

Jim was preceded in death by his son John Wayne "Duke" Lewis, who passed away August 9, 2002.

Those left to cherish Jim's memory include his wife Sheryl (Schimp) Lewis, whom he married February 9, 1988; daughter Megann Lewis of Troy; sons Aaron (Bobbie) Lewis of Troy and Aaric (Crystal) Lewis of Troy; as well as eight grandchildren.

Jim was a 1975 graduate of Troy High School and attended Ohio State University. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Troy where he sang with the choir. Jim was an avid Bengals fan and a former member of Troy Fish and Game.

A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Friday, November 10, 2023 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be from 11:30AM-1:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
