James A. "Jim" Reigelsperger, age 72 of Troy, passed away 6:47PM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County, Troy. He was born October 16, 1951 in Dayton to the late Joseph and Helen (Firman) Reigelsperger.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife Tina Marie Reigelsperger on December 4, 2011; two brothers: Joseph Reigelsperger, Jr. and Freddie Reigelsperger, as well as sister Betty Lucas.

Those left to cherish Jim's memory include his son Eric (Amber) Reigelsperger, as well as his grandchildren Cole Reigelsperger, Cayden Reigelsperger, Austin Honeyman, Tyler Bashore, and Dakota Bashore.

Jim proudly served his country in the US Army after graduating from Belmont High School in Dayton. He retired with NKP in Sidney and previously worked for Hartzell Propeller in Piqua. Jim found enjoyment working on cars and frequenting flea markets and collecting antiques.

Friends and family may gather for a visitation from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City with military honors conducted by the Veteran's Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.
