James Edward Robbins, 72, of Ashtabula and formerly of Troy, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013. He was born in Troy on September 15, 1940 to the late Leonard and Emma (Foutz) Robbins.

James is survived by one son, Larry Robbins of Sidney; one daughter; Sharon Hodge of Ashtabula; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Bloomfield of Troy, Barbara Anderson of Centerville; two brothers, Don Robbins of Centerville, and Terry Robbins of Troy. He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Robbins; and one sister, Margaret Weddle.

James was a member of Redman Lodge #222 in Troy. He retired from Shenandoah Trucking as a truck driver.

Private services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
