Janet Lee (Holland) Lauber, age 87 of Tarpon Springs, FL and formerly of Troy, passed away May 11, 2024. She was born August 22, 1936 in Blairsville, PA to the late Robert L. Holland and Ellen J. Ferguson Holland.

Janet married Robert E. Lauber on July 21, 1956 and he preceded her in death on September 20, 2019. She was also preceded in death by brother Robert F. Holland.

Those left to cherish Janet's memory include her four children: Robert "Bob" Lauber, II (Kimberly), Claudia Cox (James), Gale Louise Johnston, and Richard Lauber (Tonya); seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; as well as sister Mae Holland Swabb.

Janet loved her family unconditionally. She graduated from Troy High School and attended Sinclair Community College and Edison State. She was a LUTC fellow appointed to President George W. Bush's council of economic development. She was also a former Miami County realtor and president of Lauber Financial Services, Inc. which owned the H&R Block franchise in Piqua. Janet was also an active 4H advisor. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Troy and was active in politics, working in behalf of many candidates and issues.

A graveside service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Riverside Cemetery, Troy with Pastor Lauren Allen of First United Church of Christ, Troy officiating. Friends and family may gather at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home for a visitation 5:00PM-7:00PM on Friday, September 20, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
