Janet F. Mumford, age 74 of Troy passed away at 3:30 A.M. on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Genesis Healthcare, Troy. She was born September 15, 1940 in Bradford , Ohio to the late Harold and Lucy E. (Hacker) O'Dell.

She married her  beloved husband Monte K. Mumford on June 6, 1980 and he survives. She is also survived by sister Lillian Shultz of Tipp City, 4 nieces Jackie and Tom Call of West Milton, Rebecca and John Caplinger of West Milton, Kathy Waymire of Tipp City and Debbie Shultz of Tipp City.  She was also preceded in death nephew John Shultz.

Janet was a 1959 graduate of Milton-Union High School, retired from Hobart Brothers, Troy after 28 years of service as a supervisor of Mailing and Filing. She was also a member of  the West Milton United Church of Christ and Amvets Auxillary 88 of Troy.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M.. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Riverside Cemetery, Troy with Pastor Dale Christian officiating.
