Jason D. Denman, 40, of Troy, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton. He was born in Kettering on October 29, 1973 to J. David Denman of Ludlow Falls and Barbara Stricker Farber of Fairborn, and his step-father, Ronald Farber.
Jason is also survived by his son, Carter James Denman and his mother, Kelly, both of Sidney; one daughter and one son, Kelsey and Wesley, also of Sidney; three sisters, Nicole Denman Newton and her children of Dayton, Leah Denman and her children of Piqua, Chelsea Venrick of Greenville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Nathaniel and Angela Venrick and their children of Arcanum, John and Sarah Venrick and their children of Covington; several aunts and uncles, Bob and Joyce Denman of Woodlawn, TN, Tom Denman of Sevierville, TN, Jeanine and Greg Barton of Maryville, TN, Crystal and Craig Werst of Piqua, Belinda and Tom Lowry of Troy, Richard and Roberta Reardon of Vandalia; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his girlfriend, Ashley Ransome of Piqua. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Steven Stricker.
He was employed by Keowee Auto Sales in Dayton. For his hobbies, he was a musician, a song writer, and a Road Scholar.
A funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with CeCe Coltran officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Following the service, family and friends may gather at his aunt and uncle's house, Belinda and Tom Lowry, at 2503 Foxchase Court West, Troy, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be left in Jason's memory to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
