Jason Maurice Moton, age 59 of Troy, passed away 1:40PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born July 17, 1965 in Troy to the late Sharon Ann Moton.

Along with his mother, Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Maxwell and Marmetta May, as well as aunt Yvonne Clemmons.

Those left to cherish Jason's memory include his 11 children: Jordan Estes of Huber Heights, Charisse (Stan Jr.) Feltner of Troy, Taric Cox of Cincinnati, Trevan (Avery) Moton of Sidney, Alena Moton of Sidney, Devin Timmins of Sidney, Malik Moton of Sidney, Jason Moton, Jr. of Sidney, Ashlyn Moton of Sidney, Maxwell Moton of Sidney, and Lily Moton of Sidney; brother Leslie Moton of Piqua; uncles Maxwell (Cassandra) May of Troy, Ted (Delores) Brock of AR, and Dwayne (Penny) May of Huber Heights; as well as a host of grandchildren and numerous cousins.

Jason was a 1986 graduate of Troy High School. He found peace fishing and relaxed playing his PlayStation.  He also enjoyed playing basketball. Jason was family oriented and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held 6:00PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Bishop Brian Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
