Jill Elaine Courtney, age 87 of Covington, OH, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 19, 1934 in Troy, OH to the late Jim and Martha (Eustache) Boram.

In addition to her parents, Jill is preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Courtney, who passed away in 2003; brother, Ronald Boram; sister, Darlene Gumbert; and grandson, Michael Perkins.

Those left to cherish Jill's memory include her sons, Bryan Courtney of Covington, OH, Larry Courtney of Piqua, OH, David Courtney of Connersville, IN and Mark (Kellie) Courtney of Montana; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Jill belonged to St. Teresa Catholic Church in Covington, where she sang in the choir. She also loved her animals, going out to eat, going to concerts, and playing cards with her family. Jill loved collecting arrowheads with her son David, who also built her display cases for them.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. James S. Duell officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Miami Memorial Park, Covington.
