I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Jim Allen Johnson. At 64 years young, Jim passed away on July 4, 2022, his favorite holiday. Facing damage from bilateral strokes after a major heart attack, he waited for his daughter, Lisa and grand-dog Jake, to join him before departing this earth. While this life took him far too soon, he was confident the good in his heart would launch him to heaven to join his son, Jamie.

Jim was a painter by trade. He could cut a line like a blade. He was self-less, care-free, and kind. He loved a good steak, a cold beer, and taking care of those he loved the most.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jamie David Johnson, brother JC, sister, Shirley, and mother and father, Jay and Lola Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Johnson (Luca Marcosano), brother and best friend, Dan Johnson (Laura), brother Bob Johnson, grandchildren, Alyssa and Autumn Johnson, ex-wife Anita Patten, brother Don and sisters Nanci, Betty, Sandy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jim will be honored on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home. Visiting hours are from 2-4pm followed by a short service.  Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH
