Thomas Eugene Jimmy North, age 83 of Troy, passed away 7:22AM Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy. He was born July 23, 1942 in Putnam County, WV to the late Ernest North and Loretta (Glenn) Maffeo.

Those left to cherish Jimmy’s memory include his wife of 19 years Dawn North; daughters Jeanie (Mike) Seale, Polly (Kip) Lawrence, Angela (Todd) Kohler, and Rebecca (Craig) Wion; son Ernest North; 28 grandchildren; sisters Joyce (George) Smith and Faye Mattevi, and brother Dale Taylor.

Jimmy loved his wife and family dearly. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing Solitaire. He was a self-employed painter and a member of Troy Eagles #971.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
