Joseph David "Joe" Hagemeyer, age 51 of Troy, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born January 27, 1970 in Greenville to Kerry "Joe" Wogoman of Greenville and Goldie (McManis) Hammond of Virginia.

He was preceded in death by brother James Hagemeyer.

Along with his parents, those left to cherish Joe's memory include his wife Tammy (Besecker) Hagemeyer, whom he married January 16, 2004; stepchildren Kelby Staten of Troy and Chelsea Halcomb (Marc) of Troy; grandsons Colt and Asher Halcomb; brothers Dan and Dennis Hagemeyer; and special fur babies Roscoe, Remey, and Rosie.

Joe was an avid weight lifter and he also enjoyed fishing, bowling, billiards, and golf. He umpired for many little league teams in Troy. He was a member of Troy Fish and Game and Troy Moose #2695. Most importantly, Joe was a family man who loved his family and his dogs. He worked for many years with F&P in Troy.

A Celebration of Life will be held 7:00PM Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral home.
