Joshua Ryan Staas, 37, passed away at his home on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born in East Ridge, TN on July 11, 1987, to Ronald Wayne Staas and Ronda Staas Boomershine.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Gala Staas, his grandparents, Robert and Sandra Fair, and his aunts, Robin Fair and Traci Wright.

Those remaining to cherish his memory include his parents, Ronald Staas of New Carlisle, OH, and Ronda Boomershine of Englewood, OH; stepfather, Damon Boomershine of Englewood, OH; children, Serene Staas and Chloe Staas of Huber Heights, OH; grandfather, George Staas of TN, his brothers, Tyler Staas of Dayton, OH and Casey Staas; step-sisters, Shayne Hartman, CA and Taylor Lamon, VA; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him so very much.

Joshua graduated from Tippacanoe High School, Tipp City, OH, in 2006 and earned his welding certification from Hobart Welding School, Troy, OH. He worked at Mounds in Springboro, OH, and had a passion for fishing.

Joshua will be missed and remembered by all who has touched his life.

A visitation will be held at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Funeral will be held at 5:00pm with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating.
