Joyce Marie Gandy, age 89 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Troy Care Center. She was born April 25, 1930 in Dayton. She was raised by her father Blake Ross and stepmother Minnie (Redmen) Ross.

Joyce is survived by her niece Stephanie Quisenberry of Troy and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Gandy as well as sisters Lois Ross, Jayne Quisenberry, and Jacqueline Parks.

Joyce was a member of Zion Baptist Church and taught Sunday school there for many years. She was also a member of the Sunrise Center in Piqua. Joyce enjoyed knitting and cross stitching and she also enjoyed doing word searches and crossword puzzles.

A memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Zion Baptist Church.
