Judith Irene (Stager) Macy Cox, age 91 of Tipp City, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at Stillwater Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Covington. She was born May 6, 1935 in Troy to the late Lewis and Irene (Wintrow) Stager.

Judith was preceded in death by grandson Randy Haney; as well as brothers Johnny and Jerry, and sisters Cass, Claire, and Marilyn.

Those left to cherish Judith’s memory include her daughters Shelley (Ron) Penny of Troy, Amanda Macy of Tipp City, and Leona Shannon of Urbana; sons Thomas (Debi) Macy of Pleasant Hill and Perry Macy of Dayton; nine grandchildren: Trina (Mike) Penny, Dustin Shannon, Ronald (Jessica) Penny, Tommy Haney, Holly Macy, Emily (Chad) Martin, Jenny (Thad) Monnin, and Ryan Macy, and several great-grandchildren; as well as sister Jackie Rhodes of FL.

Judith was a former member of the Piqua Moose Lodge 1067 and Troy Eagles #971.
