Julie Michelle McNutt, age 53 of Troy, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy. She was born July 9, 1973 in Troy to Barry and Sue (Campbell) Niesley.

Julie was preceded in death by her brother Scott Niesley.

Those left to cherish Julie’s memory include her husband Brian McNutt; her parents Barry and Sue Niesley of Pleasant Hill; daughters Hailee McNutt and Cassie McNutt, both of Troy; as well as sister Heather Peters (Clint) of Pleasant Hill.

Her faith was at the very center of who she was. Her love for Jesus was evident in the way she lived her life and loved the people around her. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her energy was truly infectious. She had a way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. She would do anything for anyone, often putting herself last without a second thought. Her heart was generous, her love was unconditional, and she never hesitated to show up for the people she loved. She lived her life with a deep faith in Jesus and a love for others that will continue to live on in everyone she touched.

A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
