Julie R. (Smith) Apple, age 45 of Troy, formerly of Piqua passed away  Saturday, June 13, 2015 at  Hospice , Troy. She was born on February 17, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio to the late David E. Smith and Mary (Erickson) Smith of Troy.

Also she was preceded in death by her husband David L. Apple .

Also surviving  are daughters Sarah Apple of  Troy, Rachel and Jessica Apple of Piqua and grandmother Dorothy M. Smith of Dayton.

She attended Northridge until 1986 and  graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 1988.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Greene Street United Methodist Church, 415 W. Greene Street, Piqua, Ohio 45356. Visitation will be held from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at the church on Thursday, June 18.
