Kathy Elizabeth Godsey, age 66 of Troy, passed away 9:30PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at Vancrest of Troy. She was born October 20, 1959 in Miami County to the late Charles Ross and Maymie Godsey.

Those left to cherish Kathy’s memory include her daughters Giselle Crawford and Sinequia Godsey; grandchildren Zatori Alice Crawford, Emanuel Williams, Joseph Williams, Leeusain Wade, and Damiah Wade; as well as siblings Larry Godsey, Angela Godsey, and Ricky Godsey. Kathy was also the cherished aunt of Dominique Bradford and Darren Lewis.

Kathy was a graduate of Troy High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree from Edison College. Kathy attended the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Troy when she could, and she was a woman of strong faith who adored her church. In her younger days, she was an avid traveler and loved to vacation. She retired with Hobart Corp where she spent several years as a Program Analyst.
