Keith Allen Jackson, age 72 of Troy, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Kettering Health- Dayton Grandview Hospital. He was born July 20, 1953 in Troy to the late Ralph Harding Jackson and Pauline Jeanette (Snyder) Jackson.

Along with his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brother Billy Jackson and sisters Kathy Immel and Susie Jackson.

Those left to cherish Keith’s memory include his children Ryan Jackson of Troy and Ashley Moreno of Troy; grandchildren Kaylan, Wyatt, Austin, Warren, Roman, Reagen, and Benjamin; brothers Ralph “Jack” Jackson, Jr. and Scott Jackson; as well as longtime girlfriend Kim Hoover and their beloved dog Darby, who Keith loved dearly.

Keith was a US Navy veteran and a 1972 graduate of Troy High School. He was a skilled drummer and member of a band for several years. Keith made friends with anyone he met and didn’t know a stranger. He was a hard-working man and was a laborer most of his life.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
