Kimberly Kay Robinson, age 59 of Troy, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at home. She was born March 21, 1963 in Troy to the late Donald Jones, Sr. and Rebecca (Dilts) Jones.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael Jones, who passed away July 2, 2007; as well as sister Teresa Jones McVety.

Those left to cherish Kimberly's memory include her husband Shawn Robinson, whom she married November 14, 1986; daughter Roxie Robinson of Troy; sister Cynthia Bush of Greenville; brothers Donald Jones, Jr. of Dayton and Dale Jones of Troy; grandchildren Layla and Razze Robinson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Kimberly worked at Spring Hill Nursery in Tipp City and had a passion for gardening. She also had a knack for cooking and baking. On May 5, 1991 she became a heart transplant recipient- this year marking her 31st year. She was so proud to be one of the longest surviving recipients in Ohio. Kimberly will be remembered as a loving wife, wonderful mother, the best sister, a devoted grandmother (her eyes would sparkle when she talked about her grandchildren), and a friend to all.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
