Larry Dean Schide, age 66 of Troy, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 in the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born August 14, 1954 in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Albert Eugene Schide and Patricia Joann (Hergenrather) Richardson.

Larry is survived by his wife Laura (Reynolds) Schide, whom he married July 30, 1984. He is also survived by sons Larry D. Schide at home and Christopher James Schide at home; daughter Patricia Grace Dancer (Dustin) of Piqua; five grandchildren: Isabella, Aiden, Kellan, Paxton, and Maddox; brother Paul J. Schide of Augusta, GA and sister Janet Valentine of Piqua.

He was preceded in death by brother Alan Schide.

Larry was a US Army veteran who enjoyed fishing, camping, and bowling. He retired from Shell Gas Station in Troy.

A funeral service will be held 11:30AM Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Jimmy Stepp officiating. Visitation 10:30AM-11:30AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy with military services at the graveside by the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.

Donations may be given to the family to help defray funeral costs.
