Lawrence "Larry" "Bubba" Savage, II, age 67 of Troy, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 1, 1954 in Columbus, OH to the late Lawrence and Cora Jean (nee Horton) Savage, Sr.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Whitman.

Those left to cherish Larry's memory include his loving wife Donna Maria Savage of Troy; children, Larenzo Savage of Troy, Jordyn Savage of Philadelphia, PA, Kamren Savage of Dayton, OH, Keesean Savage of Lucasville, OH, and Orlando Savage of Troy; sisters, Janet Owens and Maddie Savage both of Ypsilanti, MI; brothers, Dale Savage of FL, Sidney Savage of MI, and Elton Savage of Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry graduated from Ypsilanti High School. He then joined the United States Air Force and went on to receive his associate's degree from Columbus State Community College. He was the chairman of the deacon board at Zion Baptist Church in Troy. He was a liaison at the Lincoln Community Center in Troy.  Larry loved his church, his family, serving the community, and was always a great friend to those he encountered.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Zion Baptist Church in Troy. A visitation will be held prior from 10 AM- 11 AM. Further services will be held in Ypsilanti, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
