Lieselotte "Lilo" Myers, age 86 of Cynthiana, KY and formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana, KY. She was born December 15, 1939 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Wilhelm Albrecht and Elisabeth (Lotz) Albrecht.

Lieselotte was preceded in death by her husband Richard Dean Myers on October 30, 2022. They were married for over 60 years. She is also preceded in death by her sister Doris Weissling; and brother Hans Albrecht.

Those left to cherish Lieselotte’s memory include son Mark Myers (Debra) of Georgetown, KY; daughter Stefanie Stringer (Shawn) of Maryland Heights, MO; grandchildren: Allen Stringer (Elise Moser), Zane Stringer (Kelly Gorman), Ryan Stringer, Mitchell Stringer (Julie Halveland), Tucker Myers, and Gavin Myers; as well as great-grandsons Graham Stringer and Harrison Stringer.

Lieselotte was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tipp City and retired with Hobart Corporation after several years of service. She is a graduate of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH. She was a proud supporter of the Troy Literacy Program, the Salvation Army, and teaching Sunday school at Zion Lutheran Church.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Jaren Summers of Zion Luteran Church, Tipp City officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00PM-2:00PM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
