Lillian D. Russell, age 87 of Troy, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County inpatient facility. She was born March 20, 1938 in Paintsville, KY to the late Edward and Mae (Conley) Sparks.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Jerry L. Russell on December 16, 2010; sisters Anna Lee, Ethel, Hazel, Juanita, Jewel, and Reva; and brothers Garlen, Edmond, and Ernest.

Those left to cherish Lillian's memory include her sons Jerry A. Russell of Casstown and Todd (Donna) Russell of St. Joseph, MI; daughter Carmel (Danny) Beane of New Carlisle; grandchildren Sheldon (Michaela) Russell, Scott (Dani) Russell, Sarah (Todd) Osborn, Zackary (Briana) Russell, Olivia (Will) Curl, and Danny Beane ; great grandchildren Hazel Russell, Dean Russell, Evie Russell, Tristan Miramontes, Samuel Miramontes, and Fields Russell; as well as sister Joy Kerrigan of Middletown.

A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Matt Harbour of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
