Linda Louise Rice, age 83 of Troy, passed away 2:06PM Sunday, June 1, 2025 in the hospice unit of Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born June 29, 1941 in Troy to the late Owen and Bessie Mae (Lee) Fox.

Linda was preceded in death by her son Mark Rice, three sisters: Nancy Enke, Patty Duckwall, and Delores Ryan, and companion Mac Johnson.

Those left to cherish Linda's memory include her son Tim Rice of Troy; daughter Anita Heath of Troy, two brothers, Mike and Ronald Fox of Troy, and many grandchildren, including her closest Britney Blundell of Arcanum and Brayden Jackson of Piqua.

Linda was a 1959 graduate of Troy High School and graduated from Upper Valley Business School in 1976. She retired from the former Ray's Supermarket in Troy where she worked in the meat department.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Lincoln Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
