Linden Charles Plantz, age 85 of Jackson Center, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Sidney. He was born May 5, 1940 in Troy to the late Basil M. and Belva (Wallis) Plantz.

Linden was preceded in death by his wife Alkie Plantz in 2013, as well as brothers Earl Berkley Plantz, Milton "Joe" Plantz, and Joseph Robert "JR" Plantz, sister Lois Northup, and brother-in-law Carl Maxson.

Those left to cherish Linden's memory include his sons John Plantz (Kelly) of DeGraff and Timothy Plantz of Jackson Center, six grandchildren and one great grandchild, sister Mary Maxson of Patriot, OH, brothers Dial Plantz of Troy and Basil Plantz of Branson, MO, and sister-in-law Sara Nancy Plantz of Troy.

Linden was a US Army veteran and worked in construction for most of his career.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
