Louis Alfred Hart, age 79 of Troy, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born June 12, 1938 in Troy to the late Louis Alfred and Katherine (Archie) Hart.

Louis is survived by his wife Charlene (Reeder) Hart; two sons: Erik Hart of Beavercreek and Peter Hart of Michigan; stepson Michael Kost of Troy; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as half-brother Ted (Pat) Lenear of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by brothers Gerald and Charles Hart.

Louis was a US Army Veteran. He was a 1956 graduate of Troy High School and studied for two years at Miami University. He retired as a carpenter and merchandiser and was a volunteer at the Veteran's Museum in Troy.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at a later date in the Veteran's Cremorial at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
