Margaret Lucille Foote, 82, of Troy, passed away 9:15 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Troy Care Center, Troy. She was born in Franklin County, Indiana on June 15, 1931 to the late Ben and Blanch (Knott) Cuneo. She was married to Matthew Allen Phillips on November 25, 1949, and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1993. After Matthew's passing away, she was married to John B. Foote who passed away in 2009.

Margaret is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Louisa Phillips of Germantown, Douglas and Vennessa Phillips of Troy, Mark and Robin Phillips of Xenia; one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and William Pittl of Tipp City; one brother and sister-in-law, Smith and Evelyn Cuneo of Chester, IN; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by ten brothers, and eight sisters.

Margaret was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a 1949 High School graduate of Indiana Academy and also graduated with a nursing degree from Kettering Medical Center. She was a retired Nurse from Dayton State Mental Health Hospital. She was passionate about her life work in Mental Health.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be given in Margaret's memory to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
