Margaret "Peggy" K. (Owens) Charette, age 88 of Auburn, WA formerly of Troy, passed away on July 5, 2022 at her home. She was born on February 22, 1934 in Troy to the late George Edward and Olive (nee Waters) Brown.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her first husband George H. Owens and second husband Joseph Charette; daughter, Debra Rastegar; granddaughter, Andrea Kollhoff; and brother, Ronald Brown.

Those left to cherish Peggy's memory include her daughters, Sandra Kollhoff of Troy and Kathy Farahani of Auburn, WA; brother, Roger Brown of Cincinnati, OH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Peggy was known to all for her charismatic and caring nature as well as her sense of humor. Her life was marked by love and adventure, having several occupations throughout her life that led her to live in several states including Ohio, Michigan, Nevada, and California and eventually spending her final days in the Seattle, Washington area. She was very brave in all she did. Peggy's most treasured memories include spending time with her family and her time spent traveling across the United States.

A funeral service will be held 11am on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home in Troy with Father Jim Duell officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
