Maria Louise Macon, age 64 of Troy, passed away 11:17am Monday, August 12, 2024 at Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering. She was born February 1, 1960 in Alexandria, VA to the late George and Maria (Krieche) Macon.

Along with her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her daughter Monica McCollum and sister Heidi Hayes.

Those left to cherish Maria's memory include her daughters Amanda (Felicia) McCollum of Troy and Patricia Macon of Troy; son Mario Macon of Piqua; her partner of 31 years Chad Jenkins of Troy; grandchildren Athena (Tyler Langdon) Sanchez, Aleya Ojeda, Jameson Long, Alysha (Kevin) Richardson, Austin (Vanessa) Cox, Alexandrea (Zach Miller) Cox, and Andrew "Rudy" Cox; great-grandchildren Xander, Xaylin, Leila, Rosie, Roman, Remiah, Viviann, Ady, Luca, Lily, and Vincent; sisters Antonia Kelley of Phoenix, AZ, Frances Sparks of Rockford, OH, Gabriella Echols of Palm Springs, CA; brothers Ian Macon, Eric Macon, and Ryner Macon, all of Mississippi; brother-in-law Craig Hayes of Phoenix, AZ; as well as a number of other extended family.

Maria had a loving heart and a laid-back personality- she got along with everyone! Her creative spirit shined though in her crafting abilities. Most of all, Maria cherished the time she spent with her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held 6:00PM Friday, August 16, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor John Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-6:00PM prior to the service. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
