Marie Caroline Poling Milligan, age 101, of Piqua, passed away 10 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Koester Pavilion in Troy. She was born on August 4, 1911 in Delphos, Ohio to the late Ed and Anna (Augustine) Shue. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Howard Poling on November 17, 1961, and her second Cyril Ray Milligan.

Marie is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Mary Poling of Troy; two sisters, Dorothy and Katherine; three grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Jean Orndorf; three brothers, Bill, Ed, and Louie Shue; and one sister, Thedora McCoy.

Marie was a member of Piqua Eagles Auxiliary # 614. She was formerly employed by the former ENPO Pump Co. and Superior Underwear Co. in Piqua. For her hobby, she loved playing bingo.

A memorial service will be held in her memory 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Union Baptist Church, 1833 E. Peterson Rd., Troy with Pastor Dale Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Miami Memorial Park in Covington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Contributions may be given in her memory to Union Baptist Church in Troy.
