Mark David Boden, age 62 of Piqua, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County, Troy. He was born September 5, 1962 in New York, NY to the late Warren William Boden, Sr. and Mary Virginia (Perry) Boden.

Mark's memory will be cherished by his brothers Mike Boden of Fairfield, Scott Boden of Mason, Warren William Boden, Jr. of Texas, and honorary brother for 44 years Gary Kimmel of Piqua; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mark was born in New York and moved with his family to Japan for a period of time due to his father's military service. They settled in the Dayton area where Mark grew up and eventually graduated from the former Fairborn-Baker High School in 1980. He went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Geology from Wright State University. He spent his over 30 year career with the Ohio EPA, retiring as a senior drinking water specialist for the southwest region. Mark spent his down time fishing on the Great Miami River and playing disk golf. He also relished the time spent with his good friends reminiscing around the fire. He also loved to read, was an avid fan of Louis L'amour western novels.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
