Mark A. Hawkins, age 28 of Troy passed away at 6:30 A.M.  on Friday, June 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 30, 1986 in Troy, Ohio to Scott A. "Fuzz" Hawkins of Piqua and Robin (Frees) of Troy who both survive. Also surviving step-mother Cynthia Downing of Troy.

In addition, surviving are daughter Payton Elizabeth Marie Hawkins at home, brother Joseph Hawkins of Troy, sister Camie Hawkins of Troy as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Jerry and Carolyn Arnett, maternal grandparents Lester and Maudie Frees and uncle Todd Frees.

Mark previously attended Miami Jacobs in Troy, cooked at the Waffle House in Troy and previously did construction work. He was also associated with Fellowship A.A.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, remodeling homes and a special part of his life was spending time with his beloved daughter Payton.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service  (5:00-7:00) P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
