Mark W.. Heffelfinger, 58, of Troy, passed away 12:34 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Hospice of Miami Co. Inpatient Unit at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born in Troy on March 3, 1956 to the late Nolan and Florence Louise (Bissett) Heffelfinger. He was married to Carlene Barker on October 28, 2000, and she survives.

Mark is survived by two daughters, Natasha King who resides at home, Stacy King and friend Cody Conard of Troy; four sons, James King and friend Latasha Mills of Jamestown, Joshua Heffelfinger, Brandon Heffelfinger, and Matt Dillon Heffelfinger; eight grandchildren, Jasmine, Damian, Hunter, Breyana, Aiden, Jade, Hailey, and Lucas; three brothers, Eddie Heffelfinger of Troy, Scott Heffelfinger and friend Robyn Price of Troy, Brian Heffelfinger and friend Grace Sarver of Troy; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Jim Elliot of Michigan, Shirley and Spark Helmer of Troy, and Gale and Rick Szabo of Troy.

Mark was a former member of Troy Eagles #971.

A funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Simon Young officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
