Mary E. Carter, age 55 of Piqua, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born April 6, 1962 in Piqua to the late Vernon and Patricia (Wolfe) Carter.

Mary is survived by her sons Oreon "O.J." Carter (Christina Davis) of Springfield and Quentin Carter (Amanda) of Piqua; granddaughter Aralynn Carter; two step-grandchildren Alixander Pritchard and Chasyn Dreer; sisters Chanda Fuston of Piqua and Sherry Skeens (William) of Houston. She was preceded in death by brother Dustin Lent; sister Patricia Simpson; and half-sister Lisa Kohlker.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday, March 30, 2018 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Wagner officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
