Jeanette Stang, age 75 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. She was born in Hiltons, Virginia on October 31, 1940 to the late Robert and Lena (Clark) Johnson.

She is survived by her husband Robert Stang, as well as daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Gary Jones of Kettering, daughter Chris Stang of Phoenix, Arizona, and son and daughter-in-law Mike and Kelli Stang of Mesa, Arizona. Five grandchildren also survive; Brian (Heather Gleason) Jones, Brad (Gabbi Montavon) Jones, Sydney Stang, Gage Stang, and Adria Stang, as well as one great-grandson Gabe Gleason.

Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law Rob and Pam Johnson of Tipp City, Randy and Melissa Johnson of Clayton, and Mark Johnson of West Alexandria, as well as several nieces, nephews, and loving friends. She is preceded in death by her sister Faye Mitchell.

Mrs. Stang was a 1958 graduate of Brookville High School. She retired from Leland-Smith Industries of Vandalia where she worked in the assembly department. She was an avid traveler, and loved reading and gardening.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:30AM at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, 1124 W. Main St., Troy, with Deacon Ron Stang officiating. Friends and family may call from 9:30AM-11:30AM at the funeral home. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Red Cross of Miami County, your local Hospice center, or a charity of your choice.
